SHIMIZU (A Demon for Better Working Conditions)

Ordered to go and draw water for tea, Tarokaja, who couldn’t be bothered, decides to lie and say that an oni (ogre) had appeared.

EBIRA (the Quiver)

During the war between the Genji and Heike clans, the warrior Kajiwara no Genda Kagesue put a branch of plum blossoms in his arrow quiver. The play depicts the battle exploits of the dashing young Kagesue, under the blooming plum trees of early spring in Ikuta Forest.
