【April 19 Event Report】2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo x Bunraku
As announced, on Saturday, April 19, the opening performance for ISHIGURO Hiroshi’s Signature Pavilion Future of Life was held at the Matsuri EXPO Arena within the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.
Performers from the April Bunraku program, Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura (currently running through Wednesday the 30th), also took part in the event.

Blessed with early summer weather, the program continued after the Noh performance Okina with a Bunraku segment featuring an introduction to Bunraku puppets by YOSHIDA Ichisuke and a celebratory performance of Sanbasō marking the Pavilion’s opening.
Live footage of the stage was projected onto large LED screens, allowing around 1,000 viewers in the standing area to enjoy a brief yet enchanting glimpse into the world of Bunraku.
